Adding and Managing People

The People List page allows you to set up and maintain the people involved in your 360-degree feedback project.

This includes both Subjects (those receiving feedback) and Responders (those providing feedback).


Adding People

You can add people individually or in bulk.

To add people individually:

  1. Go to the People List subsection within your project
  2. Select the option to add people
  3. Enter person details (such as name and email)
  4. Assign roles as Subjects or Responders

To add people in bulk:

  1. Go to the Import People subsection within your project
  2. Choose the file
  3. Confirm import
  4. After importing, assign roles as Subjects or Responders

People can be added at any point during project setup.


Assigning Subjects

Once people have been added to the project, the next step is selecting which individuals will participate as Subjects in the 360-degree feedback process.

You can assign Subjects one at a time or select multiple people at once.

Subjects are the individuals who will receive feedback from responders and ultimately receive a 360-degree feedback report.


Assigning Responders

Once Subjects have been selected, the next step is assigning responders to each Subject.

This involves:

  • Selecting which responders will provide feedback for each Subject
  • Assigning responders to the appropriate responder category (e.g., Manager, Peer, Direct Report, Client)
  • Ensuring each Subject has a balanced and appropriate group of responders

Responders should be people who know the Subject well enough in a work setting to provide meaningful and constructive feedback. A thoughtful selection of responders helps improve the quality, relevance, and credibility of the feedback collected.


Managing People Information

You can update people details at any time.

This includes:

  • Editing names or contact information
  • Updating responder assignments
  • Changing responder categories
  • Removing people if needed

Keeping this information accurate is essential for a successful project.


Reviewing People Setup

Before launching your project, carefully review:

  • That all Subjects have been added
  • That each Subject has the correct responders assigned
  • That responder categories are accurate
  • That email addresses are correct

The easiest way to review your setup is through the Status Report, which provides a clear overview of Subjects, responders, responder categories, and assignment status.

Taking time to review your setup carefully can help prevent issues after invitations are sent.


Tips for Managing People

  • Ensure each Subject has a sufficient number of Responders
  • Balance responder categories where possible
  • Double-check email address accuracy before launch
  • Make updates early to avoid disruption

Important Considerations

  • Changes made after launching may affect participation and results
  • Removing people after launch should be done carefully
  • Ensure the people setup is complete before sending invitations to responders
