How Reminders Work
Reminders are not sent manually.
Instead:
- You configure Responder Reminder emails
- The system automatically sends them to responders who have not yet submitted their responses
- Completed responders do not receive reminders
This ensures that only the appropriate participants are contacted.
What is a Responder Reminder Email?
A Responder Reminder email is an automatic follow-up message sent to responders who have not completed the questionnaire.
It:
- Is sent after the initial invitation (Responder Catalyst)
- Targets only non-responders
- Encourages completion before the deadline
You can schedule multiple reminders throughout your project.
How to Set Up Reminders
To configure reminders:
- Go to the Email section within your project
- Open Automatic Emails
- Create or edit a Responder Reminder email
- Set the scheduled send date(s)
- Review the email content
- Save and activate the email
Once scheduled, reminders will be sent automatically at the specified times.
When to Schedule Reminders
Reminders are typically scheduled:
- A few days after the initial invitation
- At regular intervals during the project
- Shortly before the project deadline
This helps maintain momentum and improve response rates.
