Customizing Report Text

The Customizing Report Text feature allows you to tailor the language used throughout your reports to better reflect your organization’s tone, terminology, and objectives.

This uses the same Text Adaptation functionality available in the Questionnaire section, ensuring a consistent and flexible experience across your entire project.


What You Can Customize

You can modify standard report text such as:

  • Section headings
  • Instructional text
  • Question wording as it appears in reports
  • Labels and descriptions used throughout the report

This allows you to align reports with:

  • Internal language and terminology
  • Leadership frameworks or competencies
  • Organizational culture and communication style

Why Customize Report Text

Customizing report text helps ensure that reports:

  • Feel relevant and familiar to your audience
  • Reflect your organization’s leadership language
  • Reinforce internal models, values, or competencies
  • Improve clarity and engagement for report readers

Even small wording changes can make reports more meaningful and easier to interpret.


How It Works

The customization process is identical to Text Adaptations used in questionnaires:

  • Select the text element you want to modify
  • Enter your adapted version
  • Save your changes

Your customized text will automatically appear in generated reports.


Important Considerations

  • Changes apply to reports generated after the update
  • Customizations do not affect collected response data
  • Maintaining clear and consistent wording is recommended for accurate interpretation

Best Practice

Keep your report text aligned with your questionnaire wording where possible.
This ensures consistency between what participants respond to and what readers see in the final reports.
