Creating a project is the first step in running a 360-degree feedback process in Panoramic Feedback.
A project contains everything needed to manage a feedback cycle, including the questionnaire, people (Subjects and Responders), emails, and reports.
Before You Begin
Before creating your project, it helps to have a general idea of:
- What you want to measure (skills, behaviours, competencies)
- Who the Subjects will be
- Who will provide feedback (Responders)
- Your expected timeline
Step 1: Create a New Project
- Go to the Overview section
- Select Create Project (or equivalent action)
- Enter a project name and title
- Import project settings from a past project (optional)
- Choose any other initial settings required
- Upload your project logo (optional)
Review your project settings carefully to ensure the project is configured as intended before moving forward.
Step 2: Build Your Questionnaire
Next, define what feedback will be collected.
Go to Questionnaire and:
- Add or edit questions
- Define rating scales
- Include comment sections
Use Preview Questionnaire to review the questionnaire for accuracy before launching your project.
You can continue to refine and update the questionnaire until the first responses are received.
Step 3: Add People
Go to People to set up the people involved.
You will:
- Add Subjects (people receiving feedback)
- Assign Responders (people providing feedback)
- Define responder categories (e.g., manager, peer, direct report)
You can enter people manually or import them in bulk.
Step 4: Configure Emails
Go to Emails and Open Automatic Emails to:
- Customize invitation emails
- Set up reminder emails
- Review automatic email settings
Step 5: Launch the Project
When everything is ready:
- Send invitations to responders
- Begin collecting feedback
Once launched, you can monitor progress and send reminders as needed.
Step 6: Monitor and Complete the Project
During the project:
- Track response rates using Status Reports
- Follow up with reminders
- Ensure completion targets are met
After responses are collected, you can generate reports.
