Creating a project is the first step in running a 360-degree feedback process in Panoramic Feedback.
A project contains everything needed to manage a feedback cycle, including the questionnaire, participants, emails, and reports.
Before You Begin
Before creating your project, it helps to have a general idea of:
- Who the subjects will be
- Who will provide feedback (responders)
- What you want to measure (skills, behaviours, competencies)
- Your expected timeline
You do not need to finalize everything at this stage—these can be adjusted later.
Step 1: Create a New Project
- Go to the Overview section
- Select Create Project (or equivalent action)
- Enter a project name
- Choose any initial settings required
Once created, you will be taken into the project workspace.
Step 2: Review Project Settings
After creating your project:
- Open Project Settings
- Confirm or update:
- Project name and details
- Timeline (if applicable)
- Basic configuration options
This ensures your project is set up correctly before moving forward.
Step 3: Build Your Questionnaire
Next, define what feedback will be collected.
Go to Questionnaire and:
- Add or edit questions
- Define rating scales
- Include comment sections
Your questionnaire can be simple to start and refined later.
Step 4: Add Participants
Go to Participants to set up the people involved.
You will:
- Add subjects (people receiving feedback)
- Assign responders (people providing feedback)
- Define responder categories (e.g., manager, peer, direct report)
You can enter participants manually or import them in bulk.
Step 5: Configure Emails
Before launching your project, review how communication will be handled.
In Emails & Notifications, you can:
- Customize invitation emails
- Set reminder schedules
- Review automatic email settings
Step 6: Launch the Project
When everything is ready:
- Send invitations to participants
- Begin collecting feedback
Once launched, you can monitor progress and send reminders as needed.
Step 7: Monitor and Complete the Project
During the project:
- Track response rates
- Follow up with reminders
- Ensure completion targets are met
After responses are collected, you can generate reports.
Tips for Success
- Start simple—your project can be refined as you go
- Ensure participant data is accurate before launching
- Clearly communicate expectations and timelines
- Monitor progress regularly to avoid delays
